Install Google’s Pixel 3 Launcher on Android devices

From generation Google Pixel Until now, Google has always shown us many new things about the Android operating system as well as the ability to make the most of the original Android system and hardware designed by Google itself. That’s why Google Now Launcher is one of the unique features that people are looking forward to from Google. Pixel Launcher was officially introduced with Google Pixel and Pixel XL, marking a change in the Android launcher. The app holder button disappeared from many launchers since then. With an update introduced with the Google Pixel 2, the search bar has been brought down. Now, it looks like the Google Pixel 3 will introduce another change to the Pixel Launcher. According to the results of paphonb of XDA developers in the latest official APK, the Google search bar at the bottom of the dock has been split into two incorporating these changes into the Pixel Launcher. This could be the Pixel 3 Launcher but you can download and install it now.

Layout with microphone feature for Google Assistant, it’s on the Google search bar. Google is rumored to be introducing an update to its Material Design called Material Design 2.0 at this year’s Google I/O. However, for now, this redesign of the search bar feature will be part of a rumored but certainly possible update. The design of the original Pixel Launcher was similarly leaked prior to the launch of the Google Pixel. Then something similar happened with the Pixel Camera redesigned for the Google Pixel 2 and tested by the community. So we wouldn’t be surprised if the leaked design change turns out to be true.

Another change you may notice is on the page Google Now. The search bar has been moved up and the menu icons are next to it. Previously, the search bar was spread across the full width below the icons. This Pixel 3 Launcher is an inactive version of Rootless Pixel Launcher, not working as of v5.2.0. It doesn’t show the modified Google search bar right away. You will need to dig into the settings to enable this feature. To install this launcher, you need to uninstall any previous versions of Pixel Launcher that you have installed. That means if you have a Google Pixel, this might not work for you, ironically. You also need your device to run on Android Nougat 7.0 or higher.

Turn on unknown sources

If this is your first time installing an APK, you will have to enable this setting to install an app, not from the Google Play Store. To do this, go to Setting -> Security and select the checkbox next to Unknown source. On devices with various customizations like MIUI, the path may be slightly different. Likewise, it can be a bit annoying with Huawei’s EMUI or Samsung’s Samsung Experience. Devices running Android 8.0 Oreo or later will need to authorize the individual app they use to install the APK. We’ll show you how to do this during the installation process.
