How to block ads on Android devices

We have all seen free apps that inevitably have annoying ads in them. However, advertising is essential for companies and individuals that make such free products, but many embed too much, leading to an objectionable situation that inhibits application users because ads appear bluff and make the user of the application click all up. These ads sometimes contain content not suitable for children that they may encounter while using your phone. Here’s an example of one of the most annoying ads, and today we’re going to show you how ad blocking on Android devices.

So the solution to all the Inappropriate advertisement and age inappropriate that is using an ad blocker. But there are a few apps that don’t require root, all of which require your device to be rooted in order to use it.

1. AdAway

You just need to download and install the app “AdAway” on your phone and enjoy the app without any ads. Download link AdAway made available right here: AdAway.apk

You just need to install it on your phone and let it download and install the files automatically.

There are also several other methods to block ads.

2. MoaAB

One can use MoaAB: Mother Of All AdBlocking, you need to download the files from here: MoaAB .

Then extract it and paste the file “hosts” into /system/etc on your device. For this you need a Root Explorer app, I recommend using ES File Explorer. Open ES File Explorer and enable Root-Explorer mode, then open storage (like internal storage or SD card) and click “/” in upper left corner -> then open “system” -> then “ etc” and paste the file “hosts” that you just unzipped.

You can choose one of two ways. Now you can enjoy the app for free without showing ads. But there are some apps that block these 2-way ad blocking that may not work, such as Airpush notifications that pop up even when the app isn’t running. Currently, there isn’t any method to block these ads. If there is, a method, please let us know in the comments below!

Both methods work well on most smartphones, requiring a minimum of a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and at least 1 GB of RAM. The app works with almost all Android versions except 5.0.x (not to be confused with 5.1.x).

If you want to go back to your mod, back to stock, you can do that too. If you used the method AdAway simply click on the “Disable ad blocking” option in the app. However, if you used the method MoaAB , the rollback process is a bit more complicated. You will have to download the file from the link below and click through the custom recovery file (CWM/TWRP).
